Gone Fishing

One of Daddy's best memories of being at the sea when he little was doing some fishing. So I wanted to do it too.

There were lots of fish to be caught.

We rigged a hook with some bread and cast our line.

I felt like I had a big one ready to reel in so I asked Daddy to help me out.

This fish may look little but it put up a big fight. He was too little to keep so we released him back into the water. In a few years when we go back, he'll be bigger and I'll catch him again.

Laila really loved the salt water. If she had room in her belly she would have drank it all.

After lots of time playing the water it was time for Laila to just kick back, relax and get some sun.

Lost at Sea 2

We spent 5 days at this beautiful beach. I played in the water every day from morning until night.

He got me. Thankfully it was only Daddy.

and all he wanted to do was take me for a ride on his floaty mattress.

19 Months

Somebody is 19 months old today. Can you guess who?

 It's Laila.

It's a flag waving 19 month B-day celebration. We love you Laila.

Birds

One thing Daddy remembers doing in Sarajevo when he was a little boy was feeding the pigeons so we went to do that.

It was really fun. There were 100's of them and they would go crazy when I threw feed in the air.

 Laila had a good time too.

The guy selling food for the pigeons made a small fortune when I was there.

We were hungry so we went out to eat. I couldn't read the menu so I just ordered what was at the top.

Turns out I ordered a very traditional Bosnian dish called cevapi. People eat this for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
