Big Brother

I'm gonna be a big brother. My little brother or little sister is coming at the end of February.

Watching Daddy at Wrigley Field

On August 23rd, I was at Wrigley Field in Chicago to watch my Daddy play baseball. Daddy is a big fan of the Cubs and was super pumped to play there.

I was allowed to sit where ever I wanted so I picked the front row. Is that my Daddy up to bat???

It is!!! I need a better seat.

Go Daddy Go!! Keep your eye on the ball. Hit a homerun Daddy!!

Good Game Daddy... I love you!

State Fair

On August 19th, me and Daddy went to the State Fair. This fair is huge. If you want to eat something fried and on a stick, this is the place to be. I had some fried cheese on a stick. I should have taken a picture.

I wasn't too excited to go on any rides, but Daddy was whining that he wanted to go on some rides...so we went on a couple rides. This picture is a very small sample of what you can do at this fair.

That thing won't bite my head off will it???

My favourite part of today was the bus ride home.

Morning on the farm

On a beautiful and very hot Saturday morning, we went to Gale Woods Farm to spend our morning on the farm.


Here I am feeding some baby lambs.

Then we went for a walk to find the pigs and feed them. I fed them some old bread and corn.

I was so tired from walking to feed the pigs and then feeding them that I asked Mommy to give me a piggy back ride.

We then made our way to see the Turkeys. The only other time I saw a Turkey was when it was on my dinner plate. These birds sure are funny looking.

Splash Pad

We ended up going back to the splash pad on another hot day. Luckily for us, there was water and cooling off would not be a problem.














I just barely fit under this water arch.











I'm trying to spray Daddy with the fire hose but he ran away like a scared chicken.









I'm going to get you back for this Daddy.

Fun!

Where's the water??

Back in July, it was very hot outside. One day Daddy took me to a nearby splash pad to cool off.
When I got there, something just didn't seem right. Hmm...

What's missing?

Wait a second. Where is all the water? Something must be broken. We'll have to come back another day.

I guess I'll go down this big orange slide. Hopefully I go fast enough to cool off a little bit.

Ice Cream Social

On June 26th, we went to the Burwell House Ice Cream Social. It was lots of fun. They had games for kids to play, free tours of Burwell House and a bunch of other things.

This was the music act that was playing. I can't remember the name of the band but they were really good. Check out the video below to see what I mean.

That dog over there better get his eyes off of my ice cream or else.

This ice cream is soooo yummy. I'm going to eat it all.
