Kellogg

After leaving the eagle center, we drove 6 miles down the road and ended up at Lark Toys which is in Kellogg, Mn. I think Mommy looks really beautiful in this picture.

The store is huge and inside they have this hand carved carousel that took 9 years to make. I just had to go for a ride.

Laila went for a ride too. Click the link to learn more about this store. It's a place you must visit one day. http://www.larktoys.com/

Not only is it a toy store but they have candy too..and lots of it. Daddy asked me what I did to deserve this handful of sugar and well...I didn't really have an answer.

This is June the dog. She was really fun to play with. I would throw the ball and she would chase it. We left the store and found a nearby hotel to sleep and came home the next day. What a fun trip.

Wabasha

After leaving Red Wing, we continued on down the road and ended up at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Mn. This eagle center houses 5 bald eagles that have been rehabilitated but were unable to be released back into the wild. We got there just in time to meet...

Harriet. I learned that Harriet is 30 years old and that while in captivity eagles can live until they are 40 or 50 years old. Harriet is famous, she's been on Leno, Letterman and she's on license plates.

She was also very hungry and got to dine on some yummy rabbit. Don't worry, the rabbit was already dead.

This is Donald. Donald doesn't have a white head yet because he's too young. Eagles get their white heads around the age of 5.

These are two of my favourite eagles.

Red Wing

The other day we decided to take a road trip and our first stop was in Red Wing, Minnesota. Red Wing is famous for making shoes. We went to the Red Wing shoe store and when I opened the door...

I saw this. That is the largest boot I've ever seen in my life. In fact it's the largest boot in the world. It's so big, the Statue of Liberty’s foot would be too small to fit the boot. A lady at the store told me it was 16 feet high and weighed 2300 pounds.

After the shoe store we went for a scenic drive up to this lookout point. It was really neat being this high in the sky. All of the cars and people below us looked like ants.

Isn't that the sweetest face you've ever seen:)

We also came across this building that looked like a castle. I wanted to climbed up to the top but there weren't any stairs. Oh well, it's time to go to our next stop.

Ozzy turns 4

My birthday is October 11th but we had a party on the 1st. We ordered up some Famous Dave's BBQ, invited some friends over and got the party started. This is Mr. Sang loading up his plate.

Here's my good friend Natalie. I think she liked the food..or is she smiling because there is a handsome little guy next to her??

After food it was time for cake. Last year I had a Pablo cake and this year I had a Super Why cake.

A big shoutout and thank you to Sarajane for making my cake again. It was a really yummy cake but Daddy said it was kind of weird cutting a cake that looked like a little boy.

When everybody finished their cake, we went downstairs to bust open a pinata. My good buddy Avery provided us with a drumroll.

Today was a very special day..Laila turned eight months old. Happy Birthday Laila.

Laila has been watching America's Next Top Model with Mommy and has been using some tips she's learned from the show.

Words can't begin to describe how much I love my little sister.

Here she is showing off her two bottom teeth. She has a couple more ready to poke through on the top. Happy Birthday sweet Laila.
