Bear Country
After Cosmos Mystery area, we took a quick rip down the road to go to a place called Bear Country USA. It's a drive through park where all of the animals roam free. It was really hot this day..and this bear was tuckered out.
There were other animals to see but the bears were by far the coolest. Too bad they're all sleeping.

Cosmos
Our last morning in the Black Hills area, we went to a place called Cosmos Mystery area. It was really neat..but very strange. Whenever I tried standing up straight..I felt like I would fall over.
Mommy isn't leaning on the doorway in this picture..she's standing normal..well kind of.
All of these pictures were taken inside an old cabin that made you feel unbalanced. To learn more about this place go here http://www.cosmosmysteryarea.com

Mount Rushmore
So after searching for gold in the gold mine, we continued our adventures by heading to Mount Rushmore. Leading up to our trip, Mommy showed me pictures of Lincoln in the mountain so I was really excited to see it for my own eyes.
Wow..how cool!

Broken Boot Gold Mine
After arriving in Rapid City and getting a good nights sleep, we started our next adventure by driving to Deadwood, South Dakota. Here we found the Broken Boot Gold Mine. I'm ready to explore!
And so is Laila.
Here I am checking out a deep cave within the mine.
Our tour guide told us that this wheelbarrow has been in that exact spot for close to 100 years. To learn more about this mine go here. http://www.brokenbootgoldmine.com/

188o Town
After spending a couple days in Sioux Falls, we hit the road towards Rapid City, South Dakota. On the way we stopped at 1880 town. http://www.1880town.com/
It was a really neat place to visit so I tried getting a room to spend the night, but was told by the beautiful lady working that they were all booked up.
I thought if I couldn't get a room, I'd get myself a cold drink so off to the saloon I went. Most of 1880 town is stuff to look at but this Saloon was open. The guy on stage is real and was playing some good music.
