10 months

Not only did we recently celebrate Christmas, we also had a 10 month birthday party for Laila. Look at the face, we totally surprized her.

Peek a boo...I see you!

I love my little Laila:)

When Grandpa and Dedo were in town for Christmas we decided to go swimming. Here's me and Grandpa getting readu to jump in.

After some jumping, Grandpa and Dedo thought it would be fun to throw me back and forth.

I love swimmming!!!

Wow...that's pretty high up. Watch the video to see where I jumped from.

Jolly Jumper

When I was a little baby, Mommy and Daddy would put me in this jolly jumper and I would jump around and get lots of exercise. Now that I'm 4 years old, it was time to pass it down to Laila so she could have as much fun in it as I did. That's some good hang time she's getting.

Good job jumping Laila!!

When there was snow

When we had snow Daddy built me a sliding hill in our yard. I was excited yet a little worried because Daddy said he never built one before. He promised I would be safe..but I said a little prayer just in case.

Weeee....this is so much fun. I'm going pretty fast. What could possibly go wrong??

First Snow

We had our first snowfall of the season the other day, so me and mommy put on our winter clothes to go outside.

Yummy snowflakes. The snow has already melted. I can't wait for more to come.

Laila 9 months

My beautiful sister just turned 9 months.

Here she is showing off her two top teeth. Those two teeth make it a total of four:)

She's a really happy baby..even when she has food on her nose.

Laila says,"Yipee, I'm 9 months!"

Uncle Visit

Uncle Dennis recently came to visit us and Laila wanted to take a picture with him.

Then it was my turn but I wasn't really ready.

Then Uncle said it was time for him to go home and I wasn't really happy.

Halloween

It was Halloween yesterday and we had to get ready for the big day by carving a pumpkin. I drew the face and then

made Daddy do all of the dirty work. I just didn't want to stick my hand into that mess of pumpkin guts and seeds.

Mommy and Daddy said the thing that made my costume complete was the sticker on my head.

I'm SUPER OZZY and I'm here to save the day, but first I need to get candy for energy.

I had lots of fun going from house to house getting candy. I made sure to say Thank you. I wanted to take this pumpkin home so we could get the seeds out but it was to big for me to carry.

Halloween 2

We had just gotten home when the doorbell rang. It was a trick or treater.

I made this silly looking guy sing a song before he got any candy. The song was pretty bad but I gave him candy anyway.

I was getting ready to eat my candy when the doorbell rang again. It was another trick or treater.

It was Mommy dressed like Kurt Cobain playing a kitty keyboard.

What a fun day and a great haul of candy. I can't wait to eat it all.

Kellogg

After leaving the eagle center, we drove 6 miles down the road and ended up at Lark Toys which is in Kellogg, Mn. I think Mommy looks really beautiful in this picture.

The store is huge and inside they have this hand carved carousel that took 9 years to make. I just had to go for a ride.

Laila went for a ride too. Click the link to learn more about this store. It's a place you must visit one day. http://www.larktoys.com/

Not only is it a toy store but they have candy too..and lots of it. Daddy asked me what I did to deserve this handful of sugar and well...I didn't really have an answer.

This is June the dog. She was really fun to play with. I would throw the ball and she would chase it. We left the store and found a nearby hotel to sleep and came home the next day. What a fun trip.

Wabasha

After leaving Red Wing, we continued on down the road and ended up at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Mn. This eagle center houses 5 bald eagles that have been rehabilitated but were unable to be released back into the wild. We got there just in time to meet...

Harriet. I learned that Harriet is 30 years old and that while in captivity eagles can live until they are 40 or 50 years old. Harriet is famous, she's been on Leno, Letterman and she's on license plates.

She was also very hungry and got to dine on some yummy rabbit. Don't worry, the rabbit was already dead.

This is Donald. Donald doesn't have a white head yet because he's too young. Eagles get their white heads around the age of 5.

These are two of my favourite eagles.

Red Wing

The other day we decided to take a road trip and our first stop was in Red Wing, Minnesota. Red Wing is famous for making shoes. We went to the Red Wing shoe store and when I opened the door...

I saw this. That is the largest boot I've ever seen in my life. In fact it's the largest boot in the world. It's so big, the Statue of Liberty’s foot would be too small to fit the boot. A lady at the store told me it was 16 feet high and weighed 2300 pounds.

After the shoe store we went for a scenic drive up to this lookout point. It was really neat being this high in the sky. All of the cars and people below us looked like ants.

Isn't that the sweetest face you've ever seen:)

We also came across this building that looked like a castle. I wanted to climbed up to the top but there weren't any stairs. Oh well, it's time to go to our next stop.
