Christmas Day

Santa came to my house when I was sleeping and left all of these stockings stuffed with goodies around the fireplace.
Here I'm helping Uncle Dennis open up a present. I like opening presents, especially when they belong to someone else.

My Dedo gave me this cool toy that makes car go upside down.

I love Christmas morning!!

Playing in the snow

Today was such a nice day that me and Daddy went out to play in the snow. I carved this big chunk of snow out of the snow bank.

It might look like Daddy is making me shovel the driveway, but I'm really just having fun and making something. Can you guess what??

I'm making a snow tunnel. I think it's ready to go. Just need to test it out.

Everything looks good on the inside. I wonder if I can hook up a Tv in here?

My years with Santa

My first ever picture with Santa was in 2007 when I was just a couple of months old. This picture was taken in the city I was born in.. London, Ontario.

Here's my 2008 picture. Clearly I wasn't having a very good day. This was taken near where my Mommy grew up: Vita, Manitoba.

2009 was a little better then the year before. I had a year to realize that Santa was a pretty cool dude. We took this picture at the Mall of America.

And this is 2010. Santa gave me a candy cane and told me that I'll probably be getting lots of presents this year because I've been such a good boy. This was taken at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota

Santa's Train Shop

On Saturday Dec.4th, Mommy and Daddy took me to Santa's Train Shop. It's actually called the Minnesota Transportation Museum. We got there just in time to see Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive. I've met Santa a few times already so to finally meet Mrs. Claus was really exciting. I bet she's really nice.
Once Santa got off the train, he came over to say hi! I told him I wanted books, toys and money for Christmas.

After visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, it was time to go for a train ride.

Wow this train is going really slow. I wonder if it will pick up speed?

Storytime

After the train ride it was storytime with Mrs. Claus inside this old pretty train car.

Me and Mommy had Mrs. Claus all to ourselves and she read 2 books to us. She's a really nice lady. I bet she bakes yummy cookies.

Here I am taking my most important passenger for a ride. Mommy clearly is happy with the service.

Here I am with Daddy checking out an old train car. I was able to pretend that I was driving the train. Lots of fun.

I better start typing my letter to Santa just in case he forgets what I told him I wanted. Does this thing work???

American Thanksgiving Weekend

For the Thanksgiving weekend we went to Grand View Lodge, which is located by Gull Lake in Nisswa, MN. This is the main building where you check in.
This is the view from our room. Our room was located just up the road from the main lodge.

After we checked in and got settled, we went for lunch bcuz I was hungry. This is my looking over the menu face.

Friday night we went to nearby Nisswa for their City of Lights celebration. There was food, music, and a bunch of other cool stuff including this sliding hill.

It was a pretty chilly evening, so it was nice to sit by this toasty fire and warm up.

At the frozen beach

After breakfast Saturday morning, we went down to check out the lake. It was a beautiful morning, the sun was shining and it wasn't very cold. Perfect weather to play in the snow.
It was a pretty big beach so me and mommy decided to spell my name. That's a big O.

Daddy decided not to help us so instead he sat in this chair trying to get a sun tan.

While Daddy was getting some sun, Mommy helped me slide along the icy beach. This was really fun!

Making S'mores

After visiting the frozen beach we went on a wagon ride that was powered by these pretty horses. I think their names were Polly and Molly.
Right after the wagon ride we picked up supplies from the front desk to make S'mores.

This was my first time making S'mores so Mommy helped me with the first one.

After a couple attempts I was ready to try roasting marshmallows all by myself.

Swimming and Sliding

After a fun filled Saturday morning of wagon rides and making S'mores, I went back to my room to have a nap. Daddy read the paper and Mommy went shopping. After a good rest it was time for swimming.
This is me spraying Daddy with the water hose. He said he would get me back, but I don't think he will.

Ahhh...He did get me back.

I love playing in the water!

This slide was really fast and fun. Now it's time to go have a nice dinner at the Main Lodge.

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning I woke up to find this squirrel eating some food I put out for him. I'm hungry too, time for breakfast. I hear somebody cool will be there to eat with me.
On our way to breakfast, I stopped to practice my Karate. Hi-ya..take that snow.

Then I stumbled and got snow on my hands. eeee...Mommy help. snow on hands cold.

It's my homeboy Santa. He was there to eat breakfast with all of the kids. He said I've been a good boy and will bring me lots of presents.

After breakfast and hanging with Santa, it was time to check out and go home. It was a fun Thanksgiving weekend.

Pump it up

Today my Daddy took me to a place called Pump it Up. It's a place that has inflatable bounce houses, slides and an obstacle course.
Weeeee....this obstacle course is hard and fun.

Bounce Bounce Bounce!

Here I am climbing some stairs to get to the slide.

That's a fast slide. What a fun morning. I'm hungry and thirsty, let's go for lunch.
